If you haven’t yet, pick up a copy of Divine Misfortune, by A. Lee Martinez. One of the main characters is a raccoon god in a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses, fercryin’outloud.

Only 1/3 of the way through it so far, but so far it’s a fairly zippy and enjoyable story. Full review when I’m done.
